- No need to panic about taking a rest day. A rest day is actually one of the most active days for your body (it's in recovery & repair mode!)
- HRV - heart rate variability. Download an app to track it! I use SweetBeat on my iPhone, but just search "HRV" & you will find other options that give you similar data/feedback. You may also need to purchase a bluetooth compatible sensor (I use a chest strap) that works with the app so it can pick up your pulse accurately.
- After using the app for a period of time - first thing in the morning for a month, for example - you can begin to see what your "normal" number is.
- Use your number to determine what kind of workout your body needs for the day as you build a greater trust in yourself to know when to push & when to rest.
