This week's question comes from Lisa Witham, but is frequently asked in some shape or form by many of our followers. "How do you know what is added sugar in a food versus what is natural?" When I look at a package of food, I actually don't pay much attention to the "nutrition facts" because the truth is that is not giving you all the facts. The more valuable part of the abel is in the ingredient list. I want to know what I am putting in my body, that my body will recognize it. I am not concerned if it's "low calorie" - I AM concerned if it's packed full of chemicals and additives. Watch this TidBit to understand how to make sense of what the nutrition and ingredient label is telling you so you can make a better decision as to what you want to put in your body.
