He found that the combination of certain coffee beans, MCT oil & grass fed butter were the ideal food for brain power & fat burning for your body if consumed first thing in the morning, without any carbs. It's frothy & delicious & I'm totally addicted because it helps me feel amazing and perform at a higher level.

I love the idea of this coffee, but shouldn’t fats be eaten with other foods for optimum digestion and nutrition? Or doesn’t that matter?
The more I am researching about hormones first thing in the morning, no. It seems fat alone is just fine. OR, sometimes I have my bulletproof coffee with some protein for breakfast, like eggs. However, I would encourage you to experiment & see for yourself. What combination of foods (& at what times of the day) make you feel your best?

I have been using the bulletproof coffee for the past month and I must say I feel great on it now, no brain fog anymore! I was fine the first week but the second week I had bloating and bad stomach ache I think my body wasn’t accustomed to so much fat, I realized when I watched your video and looked into it further that I have for years been on a low fat diet hardly having any as it’s “supposed to be bad for you” no wonder I had brain fog memory loss and fatigue I thought it was just my age and menopause! Brain feels well fed and sharper! Good side effects I’ve had are flushing/sweats have decreased maybe the lack of fat in my diet messed with my hormones?? and the first time I tried it I didn’t add sugar, it was fine! I have been trying to cut sugar out from my coffee for ages but until now haven’t been able to do it, coffee just didn’t taste nice without it but since going bulletproof I haven’t had sugar in my regular coffee either cured overnight amazing!!
NICE!!!! Both my husband & I noticed the immediate lifting of brain fog too. As for the stomach issues, yes – if you’re body isn’t used to fat, the MCT oil may be a bit much. So you can just back off the amount. I do a tablespoon, but maybe you don’t need as much. AND you are spot-on with the hormone function/regulation in regards to proper fat in the diet. This is where cholesterol comes in too – cholesterol is ESSENTIAL for healthy hormone levels and brain function. So, when I found out that cholesterol has no real tie to heart disease & in fact not having enough in our diets is harming us in so many other ways, I was infuriated that I bought into that school of thought for all those years. The whole “low fat” practice has got to go. I mean, we can’t go over-board, but we definitely need more of it in our daily diets in order for our bodies to function properly.
