I'm having minor surgery - not a big deal, really - but, it does effect my workouts because I'll have stitches on the back of my arm. I am forced to take time off & rest & that's a good thing. I wanted to share this for 2 reasons: 1. Only YOU can take care of you & YOU are in charge of putting yourself on the priority list of your health & 2. Time off is important if you've been working out diligently for a long period of time. Sometimes things like THIS come up & it means forced time off, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Watch to find out more!
My Surgery, Forced Time Off & Other Stuff

Hi Dana, I have just discovered your site and am really enjoying it. I too think I have a lypoma. It is on the outside of my arm and about golf ball size. I am very self conscious of it and I don’t wear anything sleeveless. Your video gave me some encouragement to have it checked out.
I hope you recovered quickly and well.
The surgery is easy – I didn’t get put under. I had them use local anesthesia. I was in & out in about an hour. I think I say this in my video, but I had one years ago & had it removed already in the same spot. It took nearly 10 years to grow back, but I was super self conscious too. So, I finally had it taken care of & I’m so glad I did. I am now using a couple different essential oils to heal the scar. But I am 100% back to good! That was September & now it’s January. (but I was 100% by November I’d say. Do it Jane. Go make an appt with a plastic surgeon & explore your options. They are usually covered under health insurance (well, in the states). Not sure where you’re from! Glad this inspired you. xo
