We just came off Memorial Day where we take time off to stop & celebrate the lives of those we lost fighting in honor of our grand ‘ol U.S. of A.
Today’s blogpost is short (since it feels like a Monday) so I’m going to get right to it.
Here’s a 15 minute kick-ass no-equipment cardio workout you can either do outside if you can take the heat, or inside if you prefer the AC.
5 exercises set to a 50 second interval with a quick 10 second transition. If you can go straight through for 3 rounds, your workout will be done in 15 minutes.
Of course, you’ll want to take 3-5 minutes to warm up & 3-5 minutes to cool it down & stretch it out head to toe.
- Power Squat Jacks
- Mountain Climbers
- Lunge & Kick (touch toe) Right
- Lunge & Kick (touch toe) Left
- High Knees (or use a jump rope!)
What’s awesome about workouts like these is that you can really vary the length of the interval & the number of rounds you do to challenge yourself in a new way every time to try this particular sequence of exercises.
Maybe you want to try these with 30 second intervals & go for 5 rounds instead.
Or 20/10 & go for 6 rounds.
The possibilities are wide open.
I find it can be as much of a mental game as a physical one, don’t you?
Post below. What interval did you do?
