You might be wondering if using a body fat scale would be more helpful. So, this video answers some questions on Bioelectrical Impedance scales that give you a breakdown of those numbers. There is a margin for error, so it's important to not take that body fat percentage too seriously. If you use a scale like this at all, use that number as a gauge, rather than taking it so literally. As long as it's moving in the right direction, it CAN be a helpful tool for some.
