It's amazing how this is never talked about. "They" tell you workout MORE to achieve better weight loss goals. More training, however, leads to an increased appetite & more eating. So, this formula doesn't make much sense. Your body will hit a point during your training, whether that's 90 minute to 2 hour workout sessions or whether it's the frequency, working out back-to-back days never taking time off for you body to recover, where it NEEDS more food. There is no question food is required for repair. This presents a dilemma when you use this model for losing weight. If your training kicks up a ravenous appetite, then it's time to adjust for some balance to you get results.

This video made my eyes tear up. Thank you Dana! After a year stuck in a plateau from overtraining and metabolic damage, I’m still struggling with the overtraining mindset of “I have to workout today and if I don’t go hard enough, I need to do more”. I’m finally out of the plateau and have lost 6 lbs so far because of your workouts! Taking it one day at a time. Thank you!
Sarah – I’ve been there. It was such a struggle for me for SO LONG too… I’m thrilled to hear (read? lol) that you are paying better attention to what your mind is saying vs what your body is saying. One day at a time for sure. You’re on your way, girl. You’re on your way. xoxo Thanks for choosing to workout with ME!!! 🙂
